Chayse is a third-year student at the Portland State University Honor’s College majoring in speech and hearing sciences with a minor in Spanish. Outside of the classroom, Chayse has cultivated a meaningful community on campus while working as a peer writing tutor, student ambassador, Honors College ambassador and a front desk assistant.

We are delighted to share our newest Annual Program Review on behalf of our Trustees! 2025 was an exciting year for the Renaissance Scholars Program. We added 215 new scholars, recognized 249 college graduates this year, hit 1,000 alumni total, and celebrated our 20th year as a program.

First-generation college students have three weeks to apply for a $20,000 scholarship. The Renaissance Foundation and Stand for Children Arizona offer the scholarship.
