What is Renaissance Scholars Program?

The Renaissance Scholars Program provides renewable college scholarships to talented students who will be the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree. The scholarship award is up to $4,000 per year, renewable for up to four years. There are two scholarship deadlines, February 1st  and May 1st. In order to be eligible, students must:

 

  1. Be the first in their family to graduate from a 4-year institution 
  1. Have a 3.0 GPA  
  1. Have significant financial need 
  1. Be a high school senior, recent graduate, or current college student from Oregon or Illinois. We also award students at our partner HBCUs (Elizabeth City State University, North Carolina Central University, and Stillman College).
