Portland Community College

In May 2012, The Renaissance Foundation launched a new scholarship program in partnership with Portland Community College (PCC).  The Renaissance  Future Connect Scholarships are renewable scholarships awarded to students who are transferring from the PCC Future Connect Program into a fully accredited US college or university: who are the first member of their immediate family to attend a four-year college with demonstrated financial need: a passion for their field of study; and who have shown academic achievement.

In October 2014, The Renaissance Foundation launched e a new mentoring scholarship program in partnership with Portland Community College Cascade Campus.  Cascade’s AAMSP Program seeks to escalate persistence and college completion, improve transfer rates, and increase degree attainment.  This program provides individual and small group academic guidance/coaching to Mentor Scholars throughout the academic year. Those Scholars benefit by receiving mentoring in the PCC and Portland community.  Additionally, each of the Mentor Scholars will Mentor three first year  students.  Link here
